SAFETY NEEDS
Once your most basic biological needs (such as the ability to breathe, sleep, and eat) are met, it is time to consider your long term needs. What are your plans to maintain safety? Can you afford to live independently? These are the first steps to finding financial and mental sustainability. Not addressing these needs in a timely and realistic manner, can result in a loss of safety and security and a return to crisis. Addressing these needs does not mean you are currently experiencing a crisis, but ignoring them will result in crisis.
