More than 90% of women in prison have experienced sexual violence or intimate partner violence. Here at the Lebanon County Reentry Coalition, we recognize that people are complex. Being guilty of a crime does not mean being absent from trauma. In fact, ACEs - Adverse Childhood Experiences, are common for people with criminal histories. Prison in and of itself, is traumatic. Everyone deserves to heal.
